Lorraine Tomain Reagan, 55 of West Long Branch passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday Feb. 10th at the St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. Lorraine was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong resident of West Long Branch. She was a communicant of St. Jerome RC Church. Lorraine went to the St. Jerome school and was a 1975 graduate of Shore Regional High School. She received her B.S. degree from Rutgers University and had done her post graduate studies at Georgian Court College. Lorraine was a substitute teacher for the West Long Branch Board of Education and then became a beloved 1st grade teacher by her students, parents and colleagues at the Vetter Elementary School, Eatontown. For many years Lorraine was a volunteer Soccer and Softball Coach for the West Long Branch Sports Association. Surviving are her two loving daughters, Shannon D. and Kathleen R. Reagan, both of West Long Branch; two brothers and their wives, Joseph and Kathleen Tomain, Cincinnati, OH and Christian and Cynthia Tomain, Cheshire, Ct.; her sister Diane Marie Tomain, Tampa, Fl.; she is also survived by her nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday Feb. 15th, 4 to 8 PM at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated Thursday Feb. 16th, 10 AM at St. Jerome RC Church, Wall Street, West Long Branch. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch.
