Our loving mother, Louise Valletta, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, May 23.
Louise was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in the Bronx with loving parents, her beloved brothers John and Joseph, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She often reflected upon this time fondly as cherished memories which made for a wonderful childhood.
As a young Mom, Louise started her family in Bronx, NY and soon moved to Netcong, NJ where she raised her two daughters, Terri Ann and Nancy. She remained their biggest supporter throughout her life and loved them immeasurably. She worked hard to provide for all they could want or need and was a constant presence in their lives. She was always available for her girls to talk about all of life and its blessings and challenges. She loved to spend time with her family whether it was for a cup of tea, ice cream, a walk, lunch, a Broadway show, or just sitting together to watch TV. She was present for the excitement of her daughters’ life’s events including welcoming two sons-in-law, Rich and John, who she adored, and momentous occasions such as their weddings and the arrival of her Grandchildren; her boys.
When Louise’s Grandsons were born, her heart just grew to have even more love to give. She would hug her two boys as often as she could and loved to laugh with and spend time with them. Nicholas and Jackson are blessed to have wonderful memories with her and to have had the love of their beautiful Grandma.
Without question, Louise devoted her life to those she loved. She was present, loving, hard-working, and kind beyond words to everyone who knew and loved her.
Louise is survived by her Mother, Theresa Springman, and her daughters Terri Ann Pedri (Richard) and Nancy Morytko (John) as well as her grandsons, Nicholas Pedri and Jackson Morytko.
A private family service to honor Louise will be held.
