I just found out that Peg has crossed to Spirit. I send my heartfelt condolences to her family. I did equine massage for Peg's horses Special and Diamond for many years. It was always a pleasure to work with them and to see Peg. Peg was always such a happy, optimistic person. She lived everyday to the fullest and made the best of whatever the Universe gave her to work with. I will never forget Peg and her wonderful horses. She was more than a client to me -- she was a friend and I will hold the memory of her in my heart.

Dear Carol, Julie and Kathy, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Your mom was always so generous, gentle and welcoming to me. Of course I remember her giving out bubble gum on Saturdays but it was also the sleepovers, backyard swims, carpooling, and barn time where I got to feel her warmth the most. Thinking of you and your families as you adjust to this new normal without your mom. She and your dad were great people.

I remember Mrs Roarty very well. She and her family lived in the same neighborhood as my family. Every Saturday morning, my friend and I would walk over to the Roarty's house and get free gum! Mr Roarty worked for Topps. I think, and would bring home lots of delicious gum. Such a great childhood memory! I published a book last year about all the people who had made a difference in my life and I included Mrs Roarty for her cheerful smile-and of course, free gum! May she rest in peace.

I was so saddened to learn of Peg's pissing. Our regular scrabble games at Margrit's were many times the high points of my week. Peg's knowledge of and caring for the environment, animals , nature & current events including legislative issues never ceased to amaze me. Peg was truly the epitome of kindness. I f you were Peg's friend you were very fortunate to be included in a very select group. There no words to sufficiently express how much I will miss my dear friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I had the pleasure of knowing Peg over 21 years ago when I arrived in this country not so long. She was a close friend and liked a mom in my life, and treated my two children like her grandchildren. We regularly chatted to share our lives, work and funny events to raise the kids. I will always cherish the wonderful memories I had with her. She will be forever missed.

My deepest condolences to Carol, Julie, Kathy,John and all who loved Peg. Your mom popped into my head Thursday morning. Quite curious…I hadn’t seen her in at least 25 years. Our horses were stabled together in Middletown. I spent many days and sleep overs at the Roarty Home during my middle school years (late 70’s) in Colts Neck. I have wonderful memories of your family, your mom’s enthusiasm and energy. May sweet memories comfort you during this time~ Liz Weyer

Peg was a dear friend. My sister saw her on Monday and remarked how good she looked! Although it was sad to hear of her passing two days later, I'm glad she appeared to go gently. We kept our horses at the same barn for years and saw each other regularly thereafter. Peg was so wise, smart, and funny. Everyone enjoyed the pleasure of her company. She was a great hostess and very kind and compassionate. She loved her family dearly. Peg was truly one of the finest people I ever knew.

Peg was a dear friend of mine. We shared common bonds, both raising our families in Colts Neck and both being actively involved in the ARC. I knew a day spent with Peg would be filled with laughter and stories about her horse. I will miss her dearly and she will remain in my heart forever.
