Margaret Jean Ripandelli, 95 of Tinton Falls, died on Friday Dec. 1st at Seabrook Village.
Mrs. Ripandelli was born in Long Branch to Mary Lee and Nicholas Cittadino and lived in Long Branch and West Long Branch with her husband Sal before moving to Seabrook Village 14 years ago.
She was athletic and loved to play golf. She was a member of Suneagles Golf Club, Ft. Monmouth, where she was a nine hole ladies club champion. She adored and was devoted to her family. Margaret was the most terrific and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. An amazing, smart, capable, independent woman, she could accomplish anything she was asked or wanted to do. In many ways she was a woman before her time, very insightful and always believing that women could be successful in every endeavor. She gave and showed her talents in many ways throughout her life. She will be so deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
Mrs. Ripandelli is preceded in death by her loving husband Salvatore John Ripandelli ,to whom she was married for 75 years and who passed away in August of 2017; her dear granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Cox in May 2016; her parents, Mary Lee and Nicholas Cittadino; her siblings Felix ( Phil ) Cittadino, Rose Mazza, Ann Wheeling, Benjamin (Benny) Cittadino.
Surviving are her daughter and son- in- law, Judith and Stuart Cox, Little Silver, her granddaughter, Dr. Mary Jude Cox and her husband John Hoffman , her great grandchildren, John Stuart Hoffman and Margaret Jude Hoffman (her namesake) and many wonderful, caring nieces ,nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation Wednesday, Dec. 6th, 5 to 8 pm. at the Woolley Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday Dec.7th, 10:00 am, at the Church of The Nativity Fair Haven. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or to The Sisters of The Carmelite Monastery 26 Harmony School Road, Flemington, NJ 08822.
