Mary Surber left a message on April 12, 2019:
Dear Cousin Kevin, I am sorry for my delay in responding to the condolence card you kindly sent me along with the obituary and remembrance card. Also, I wanted to let you know that the photo you added of the guardian angel watching over the little boy and girl meant so much to me. My mother Mary, gave me a memento of this very picture, which reminds me of my twin brother and to keep watch over the little ones. Also, the remembrance card you chose with Mary, Queen of Peace, is present on the altar in the church that I attend with my husband Todd. It is also the same card that was on Aunt Eileen's remembrance card. Also, the pastor keeps telling me to go to Margaret, who is our choir director. Todd's mom Ruth passed away October 1 at the age of 94, and I was her sponsor when she was received into the Catholic faith in 2011 at St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Bothell (She was brought up Lutheran). Todd was the last of four children but was never baptized. He is being baptized into the Catholic faith this Easter Vigil at the age of 56. I am overjoyed by this. I will take my place in the choir after Todd receives the sacraments of initiation. I just wanted you to know this. I will write and hope that I have the correct address in NC. Love, Cousin Mary Ellen
