I literally just found out about Maria's passing when someone on the Nextdoor site mentioned about looking for a certain piece of furniture & listed her address!! I cleaned for Maria for almost 17 yrs. We had our differences over that time, but had many chats & laughs over the years. We became friends & I always helped her out with her dogs over the years. We were in touch last month & she never answered my last text on April 24th - I see she passed 4 days later. She had a wonderful, interesting life & is now with her beloved son, Billy. It's like I know her entire family from all the stories she shared over the years. Condolences to her family & friends. RIP Maria. xoxo

To Maria's family and loved ones. My name is Tom, I met Maria a few years ago. We became friends. I first helped out by helping her with some odd jobs around the house. I just read her obituary and was devastated. She told me a few times recently she was dizzy or not well but then she seemed fine. I was just texting with her on the 21st of April while I was away for work. My girlfriend Dena and I would stop in and check on her. We would have been there at her services, if we only knew. We had a funny friendship full of sarcasm and laughs. I saw her a few weeks ago never thought it would be my last time . If you need anything done at the house please feel free to reach out to me. She will be greatly missed. My phone # 732-413-5209 Tom Lebel

I will always remember our special time with Maria. Between holiday dinners, birthday celebrations, tricky trays and tea parties, we always had a good time. She is now with her son and God and I pray they find forever peace. The Baum Family - Bill, Arlene, Jessica and Jennifer

Maria and my grandmother were great friends. When my grandmother passed last year, I enjoyed talking to Maria and hearing her tell me all about my grandmother and their friendship, as well as all her own stories from her life and career. I've lived around the corner from Maria all my life and I enjoyed going over to her house occasionally to help her with her computer. I'll miss the voicemails about needing help with her email! May she rest in peace, and may her family find comfort.
