Maria and my grandmother were great friends. When my grandmother passed last year, I enjoyed talking to Maria and hearing her tell me all about my grandmother and their friendship, as well as all her own stories from her life and career. I've lived around the corner from Maria all my life and I enjoyed going over to her house occasionally to help her with her computer. I'll miss the voicemails about needing help with her email! May she rest in peace, and may her family find comfort.
