Marie Beauregard, 83 a long time resident Oakhurst, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Saturday morning, May 29th after a long illness. Marie was born and raised in Belgium where she met and married her husband Ralph just after World War II. She has lived in New Jersey since the early 1960s where she spent many years employed by Macy's/Bambergers working happily in the China and Glassware Department. Marie was much loved and is already greatly missed by all her family including Sharon Williams who was her nurse and care in her final years, spending almost every day and night with her. Mrs. Beauregard was pre-deceased by her husband Ralph E. Beauregard who died in 2007. She is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Chris and Don Collins who live in England and also by her son and daughter in-law, Ralph and Nadine Beauregard, currently residing in Florida. Visitation will be Friday, June 4th, 10 am till the time of the service at 11 am, at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch, New Jersey. Interment services will be held on Tuesday, June 8th at the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Jackson Twp. You may light a candle of condolence on the opposite page.
