I was saddened to learn of Mary's passing on the classmates.com web sight. Mary and I were good friends in high school and although I have not seen or spoken to her since we graduated, I have so many fond memories of the time that we were friends. Mary was always kind and always had a smile on her face. I remember how smart she was and how I knew she'd live a successful life. She drew a picture for me once and to this day, it still hangs in my old room in NJ. Even though it has been many years since we last spoke I feel an emptiness in my heart.

Our prayers go out to Mary and her family in this tough time. I will personally never forget Mary coming around the corner in the office each morning on the way to the kitchen. "Morning Wes". Few words but always respectful. I will also never forget her candy jar. Whenever an employee brought in a child they could always count on "Mar" for a treat. My daughter will always remember Mary as the "bird lady" for her coaching when Amanda was breeding parakeets. Mary thought she would spend this birthday with her Dad and, to her surprise, ended up spending it with her Mom. God Bless You Mary.
