Matilda Visone, 91, of Marlboro, passed away Wednesday surrounded by her family.
Matilda was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and graduated from her local high school. Shortly after high school she would meet the love of her life, Pasquale Visone, at 18 years old walking on the Coney Island Boardwalk. The two would marry two years later and settle in Bensonhurst to raise their young family.
Matilda was a kind, patient, and caring woman. Family was everything to her. She enjoyed having family dinners and holidays at her home, was always present at every event for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she and her husband were inseparable; for 71 years they did everything together. She was the person in the family everyone could rely on. She will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Matilda is predeceased by her parents William and Julia De Lizza, and her brother Tony De Lizza.
