Linda Maria Grasso left a message on August 9, 2021:
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of my beloved aunt, who was as much a part of my childhood as Grandma and Grandpa downstairs. We always called her Aunt Tidi and she had a wonderful, distinctive laugh, which I can still hear. I never saw her angry or ruffled: She was always there at the kitchen table, having coffee, eating pastries. My heart goes out to all of you who knew her as mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She lives in all of you.
Frank DeLizza left a message on August 9, 2021:
Aunt Matty was a kind, generous and gentle soul. My kids and grandkids have all heard about her dining room being transformed into a home-made pasta drying room on Sundays, and also how she dropped the bowl of spaghettini and clam sauce on Christmas Eve. And share always pinched my cheek! Rest well Aunt Matty, you are loved.

I am sad to see Aunt Matilda leave us. She was a really nice aunt. Always there, always smiling, always kind to us as children. Glad she was there for us every Sunday growing up.
