Mary Ann Huey left a message on June 26, 2007:
My strongest impression of Mike was his heartiness and energetic commitment to getting things done. I worked with him on a project here in Miami, and he pushed me hard. But, in the end, he gave me a big hug and complimented me on the work. That meant a great deal to me, coming from Mike. I extend my deep sympathy to Mike's family and coworkers. He was such a huge presence. I am so sorry for your loss.
Molly Sarge Davenport left a message on June 24, 2007:
Dearest Aunt Margie, Nancy, Tim, Mary, and Sean: I have so many happy memories of Mickey and all of you together: at the shore, in Olean, in OP! Mickey was the protector of all. He gave his all. He wasn't the life of a party, he was the party. We all followed Mickey to Rochester as everyone knew where the light was! The poise and grace with which you have all met this event is a testimony to all of you. My love to the whole family, but especially to his adoring mother who showed us where his strength of character and passion for life came from and his three brave sons who showed us all what a wonderful father they had. Love to all from your niece and cousin.
Harry Elden left a message on June 23, 2007:
A son, a brother, an uncle, a father and a dearly loved friend to all. Thank you for the love you gave to everyone in your family and to your many friends. You will be deeply missed, and we will grieve your passing. We will always keep you in our prayers. May the Lord Jesus keep you. May the Lord Jesus bless you. May the Lord Jesus smile upon you. Amen. Until we all meet again. Harry, Susana, Andrew and Dominique.
Harry Elden left a message on June 23, 2007:
Dear Michael, Thank you for the love and care you gave to Celeste and her three children, Christopher, Jennifer and Nicholas. You came into their lives and they came into yours. You gave them love and happiness. For that I will always remember you and thank you. We love you, dear Michael. Your brother, Harry

To all the Donovans: It was my pleasure to have worked with Mike a great deal recently. While at times, the work was intense, at the end of the day, Mike always made sure to thank others for their help and acknowledge a job well done. I am deeply saddened for all of you. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

It is with great sadness that I send my condolences to all of Mickey's family. Mickey was a friend in the truest sense of the word. His generous heart was always willing to give in any way he realized or saw a need. I will always remember some of the conversations in Ellicottville and the excitement he had in being there and his willingness to again share one of his dreams with me. We will meet again my friend!

Dear Donovan Family: I extend to you my heartfelt condolences. During my nine-year tenure in Terumo Medical Corporation, I was encouraged very much by his support. Before I moved back to Japan in March, he took time from his busy schedule to give me a call. We spoke that we would work together again someday in the future.... My prayers and thoughts are with you.

To Mike's family: My deepest condolences to all of you. Mike was truly a wonderful man and father. On several occasions while in the office at Terumo - Mike would make a point to stop by and ask about my family. Knowing him for over ten years now we briefly shared stories of our kids and step children. He was a proud father and step father. I will truly miss him and will pray for you and your family.

With Warm Regards to Michaels Family and Friends, I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of such a wonderful man. I have very fond memories of Michael from my work with him at Terumo. He was a wonderful person to work with, but more importantly, a true inspiration to me when he spoke of his love for his family. Thelma Samaniego left a message on June 21, 2007:
I was honored to have met such a great human being, husband and father. I worked closely with Mike on different cases through my boss, Bob Wright. Mike always treated me like a true gentleman and was kind enough to talk to me about my son's football career. I have great memories of Mike and will always cherish his friendship. He will be truly missed and never forgotten. Celeste I never had a chance to meet you in person, but have heard only great things about you. I know there are no words for the loss of a great love, however, I feel the care, love and concern he placed into your relationship will be reason enough for you to continue with his legacy. Best wishes, Thelma.

Gael Tisack left a message on June 21, 2007:
Michael Donovan was a wonderful person. I always knew I could rely on him for smart practical advice and, no matter what was going on, he always made me smile before I was done talking with him. He was unique in that he was an attorney I actually looked forward to calling. We at Terumo are better for having known him, will miss him and express our deepest sympathy to his family.
Hiroyuki Sampei left a message on June 21, 2007:
Dear Mikes family, I met with Mike 7 years ago when I came from Japan to join Terumo Medical in Miami. Since then he has been a great legal counsel for us. Lately our company in Miami had important legal issues and I was communicating with him everyday even over the weekend until he left yesterday. Sometimes I enjoyed his lecture about the legal system of this country and other times he gave me insights about our strategies for the cases. For me he was more than a legal counsel. He was a great teacher and good friend who gave courage to me to fight with difficulties. I was respecting him as a human being. This is truly a big loss and hard to overcome. Our thought and prayers extend to your family at this time
