Frank and Maria Frasca (Australia) left a message on January 3, 2021:
We were very saddened with the shocking news of Nick's passing our heart feels heavy as we keep Nick's family in our prayers. We had the pleasure of being in Nicks company about 10 years ago when we visited New York. There was nothing Nick wouldn't do for us, an absolute gentleman who always took the time out of his busy day to get to know us. God took Nick way too early leaving his beautiful family behind, they say only the good die young so God must have been in need of someone with a huge heart, warm smile and generous nature. Rest in peace Nick we send our prayers and condolences to the whole family and may God bless you all with courage and strength. Frank and Maria Frasca

Dear Phil, We were so saddened to hear of your brother’s passing. Please accept our deepest condolences and know that we will be holding you and his family in our thoughts and prayers. Though we never met him, we got a real sense of who he was through his beautifully written obituary; what a wonderful man! It is obvious that he soaked up all of life’s simple joys and lived fully in the present. It is also very evident how much he loved his family and how infectious his energy and spirit were those around him. Wishing you moments of peace and warm memories as the year goes on. Sincerely, Marty and Phil Coffman

Lisa Spagnolo left a message on January 2, 2021:
It is with a broken heart and tears in my eyes that I write this tribute for my cousin in America, that's what he was known to me in Australia. I first met Nick on my honeymoon, we stayed with Nick and his family in Brooklyn. The strongest memory and the one I will hold onto forever, is of a man who went out of his way to welcome my husband and I into his home. He always made sure we were very well looked after , his generosity, kindness, warmth and friendship made us feel like part of the family. Not a day went by where we would exchange a joke about our accents, kangaroos or meat pies. I will always cherish the countless Christmas cards we would receive with a photo of Nick and his family. I feel honoured and blessed to have met my cousin in America and although we didn't speak everyday through Facebook we were able to keep in touch promising we would come back and visit. Nick, rest in peace now knowing you were a very loved and respected gentleman who never left a stone unturned - GOODBYE COUSIN To Anna Maria, Rob and Alyssa words are not enough to express how deeply sorry we are for your loss. To Nick's mum Tita, brother Phillip, sister Josephine and their respective families, we are all thinking of you, we send our prayers and pray that God will bless each and everyone of you with strength. Lisa Spagmolo
Lucille Castro left a message on January 1, 2021:
Dear Anna Maria, My heart breaks for you and your children. Words fail at tragic times. In place of words I send heartfelt prayers for all of you to be comforted by God’s love and the love of family and friends. May your wonderful memories bring you peace and somehow help you experience Nick’s presence with you. Holding you in prayer in my heart and sending un grand abbraccio! Lucille
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Michael St. Hilaire left a message on January 1, 2021:
Nick I miss your laugh. I was lucky enough to share a desk with Nick and no matter how crazy the day his laugh would make me feel better. It has been over 10 years since we worked together and I can still hear it clearly. Beside my uncles Nick is the only person I responded to when I heard *Mikey". He was a significant influence on my life. My condolences go out to his family, he loved you so much.
Elizabeth Gallagher left a message on January 1, 2021:
It is with heavy, broken hearts that we learn of Nick's passing. A lovely man in every way, great friend and Colts Neck neighbor for years, we remember our sweet gatherings - sharing the milestones of our children, watching the Giants, commuting by ferry to NYC or just sitting by the fire pit with an occasional cigar. Although moving on to different neighborhoods and locations as life dictates, Gallagher Family will deeply cherish in in our hearts and minds, these special memories of our family rooms and backyards on Lovett and Marl, with our beloved friend Nick and his beautiful family ~ With our love always, Brooks, Liz, Meredith and Jack

Phil & Lynn, I wish there was something that I could say to make your hearts ache less and to take away the sorrow. Words are just inadequate. Talk to your loved ones and friends about everything that he was and don’t stop talking until you feel you can. Share it all and those who love you will love to listen. My love to all of you.
