Oliver L. McCabe, 90, West Long Branch passed away Thursday, April 26th at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Mr. McCabe was born in Brooklyn, NY, lived in Long Branch and moved to West Long Branch in 1946. He served in the Army during WWII. Mr. McCabe was in Administrative Management in Procurement at Fort Monmouth. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Rosalind; a son & daughter-in-law, William & Gail McCabe, Eatontown; four daughters & a son-in-law, Lauren J. McCabe, Bradley Beach, Debra Girard, West Long Branch, Elise Hayes, West Long Branch and Tracy & Joseph Ryan, Manahawkin; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will be 8:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 9:30 am, Saturday, April 28th at Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Interment will follow in Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Donations may be made in Oliver's memory to Prevention First, 1405 Highway 35, Ocean, NJ 07712.
