Patricia A. Heller, 64, of Colts Neck, NJ, died on Saturday, October 21.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Patricia and James Murphy. Patricia was raised in Farmingdale, NY, graduating from Farmingdale High School in 1977. After high school, Patricia began working in the travel industry and enjoyed helping people plan trips. She and her middle school sweetheart married in 1981, and began their family ten years later, raising their kids in Manchester, NJ and then Colts Neck.

Patricia enjoyed traveling, bird watching, cooking, and watching the Food Network. She loved staying active; among her favorite things to do were hiking, skiing, dancing, walking, and yoga. Patricia was nurturing, and cared deeply for her family and friends, pets, and her garden throughout her life. Pat was always kind to waiters and waitresses, and she was not happy with people who were not kind. She brought love and joy to everyone around her.

She is predeceased by her parents and her sisters Michele Famighetti and Kristine Tortoso.

Surviving is her beloved husband of 42 years, Robert Heller, her children Alexandra and her husband Luke Kerns of Philadelphia, and Zackary Heller of San Francisco, her brothers Brian, James, and Kevin Murphy, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Services for Patricia will be held privately.
