Patricia A. Lockwood, 78, of Holmdel, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Monday, July 21, 2025. Born on May 27, 1947 in Newark, NJ, Patricia dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home for her husband of 50 years, Robert and daughter, Christine.

Patricia was raised in Newark before relocating to Brick Town and finally settling in Holmdel in 1994. Patricia’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and her dog, Bailey.

Patricia loved to travel; taking day trips with her grandchildren, visiting Atlantic City, or relaxing at her home in Florida. She was also fond of destinations such as Europe, Hawaii, and Mexico. In her spare time, she was a passionate gardener incorporating a koi pond within her design and traditionally hosted family gatherings. She will be remembered as a kind, generous individual and a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, James and Vennie Collins; and her brother, Timothy Collins.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Robert Lockwood; her loving daughter, Christine Coleman and her husband, James; four grandchildren, Kathryn Kempczynski, Kelly Kempczynski, Samantha Coleman, and Tyler Coleman; and her dog, Bailey.

At Patricia’s requests, arrangements will be held in private.
