My dearest "2nd Mommy" ...as I lived to call you, I will miss your advice, your strength and true Irish spunk... I vow to you to continue the good fight as you did. I am heartbroken nobody informed me of your passing, but my first thought as with My mommy...thank god above my girls passed to God from their own homes. I am a better woman since I met you. We just adored you, Victoria & Jim

I will never forget the time that I sang at a wedding at Saint Michaels church in West End, it was the Ave Maria And the Panis Angelicus, I wish I could remember whose wedding it was, I know the reception was in the Deal country club. There were other people in the Choir loft with me,I did not know any of them. after the mass was over this beautiful tall blonde came over and put her arms around me, tears were rolling down her cheeks, She said" I have never in my life heard anyone sing like that before, she wanted to know my name and where I lived, an at that time of my life I lived in Atlantc Highlands . she said, Please, please come and sing here again . I was so flattered with her comments. never did I realize that our paths would cross quite a few times after that meeting. She married my Uncle Peter DeLisa, he married my Aunt Chub ( Eva) when she passed away he married Pat. I always told her she was my Lana Turner. My deepest Sympathy to all in the family, she was an absolutely Lovely Lady. George M Coleman

I had the pleasure of meeting Pat, her husband, and son in my days as one of the only professional massage therapists in the Two River Area in the early eighties. She was always full of life, full of fun, with a big heart and a big laugh. She always had the buzz on what was going on around Long Branch, as well as politically and socially on a broader scale. Her mother and the pastor of St. Michael's (whose name escapes me) were frequently guests, and there was often drama and humor involved. Coming to her home was always an event, and she took a real interest in my eccentric life. Strange... I had just thought of her the other day out of the blue. Pat, I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing you. Thank you for all the kindness you showed me - visiting me at Bonwit Teller's in New York; taking me out to that cabaret; attending my wedding with Pete; coming to hear me sing at the Hoffbrau House in Atlantic Highlands. You were that unique combination of intelligence, style, verve, and risque. May your spirit live on in Peter and his children. I apologize that I will be away when you are laid to rest. God Bless- xoxo
