Phyllis Harvey Daly, 90 of Allenhurst, died at her home on Sunday, May 10th. Mrs. Daly was born in St. Petersburg, Fl and was long time resident of Deal NJ. She moved to Allenhurst 2003. She was parishioner of St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, Deal. Mrs. Daly was a member of the Ariel Club and Deal Golf and Country Club. She was an active community volunteer for many years, especially at Fitkin Medical Center, which is now Jersey Shore Medical Center. She was a graduate of Edgewood Park Junior College. Mrs. Daly was pre-deceased by her parents Phyllis and Vernon Harvey and her brother Paul Harvey Surviving is her husband of 66 years, George R. Daly; their loving children, George and Karen Daly, West Long Branch, Meredith and Peter Wickman, Haddonfield, Elizabeth and Keith Rinehart, St. Louis, Mo. and Ann and Craig Goings, Haddonfield; her sister Patricia Buchsbaum, Red Bank; her 8 grandchildren, Ryan and Geoffrey Daly, Peter and Elizabeth Wickman, Stephen and Laura Rinehart and Thomas and Christopher Goings; as well as 6 nieces and nephew; Mrs. Daly's family extends their sincere appreciation to all the care givers that took wonderful care of Phyllis especially in her last days. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday May 16th, 9;30 am, St. Mary's of the Assumption, Deal. Interment will follow at St. Anne's Cemetery, Wall.
