Ralf Linde, 82 of Holmdel, New Jersey, died at his home on Friday, March 29th.
He was born and raised in Bremen, Germany. Ralf did his apprenticeship in printing and served in the German military. In 1965 he emigrated to the United States, settling in Staten Island, New York. He worked proudly for many years for Olsen Press in New Jersey and Royal Press in Staten Island as a Pressman and was well respected by his coworkers for his expertise and willingness to teach others. Ralf moved to Holmdel four years ago to live with his loving daughter and her family.
Ralf was a proud grandfather and thoroughly enjoyed being with his grandchildren and participating in their activities. He was a big fan of soccer, especially the New York Cosmos Soccer Club. Ralf became a fan of classical music in later years – his favorite artist was Andre Rieu. He loved to read and enjoyed traveling to the Poconos for family vacations.
Surviving are his children, Janette Linde, Frederick, Maryland, Suzette and her husband Ron Cieplensky, Holmdel, New Jersey, and Kevin Linde, Manhattan, New York; his two grandchildren, Emily and Brendan.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services.
