Raymond Buzzo, 58, of Hazlet passed away after a long battle with cancer on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family. 

Raymond was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and became a NYC Police Officer after high school. Ray earned the rank of Lieutenant before retiring after 21 years of service. Ray was also a first responder at the World Trade Center on 9/11. 

Raymond and Maureen married in 1996, started their family on Staten Island and moved to Hazlet over a decade and a half ago. 

Raymond is predeceased by his parents Edward and Barbara Buzzo and his sister Barbara Natale. 

Raymond is survived by his loving wife Maureen Delaney-Buzzo, his two sons Nicholas and Christopher Buzzo and his brother Edward Buzzo (wife Dawn) and many loving nieces and nephews.
