Rebecca Mary Hayes, 18 of Morganville, died on Sunday September 10^th, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, NJ.

She was born in Long Branch, NJ and had lived her whole life in Morganville, NJ. Rebecca was a beautiful sweet girl who loved her family, crazy noises, and listening to music most of all. Rebecca gave the appearance of not knowing what was going on but she certainly did. She recognized voices and would smile and giggle when her favorite people were around. Rebecca enjoyed her dolls, swimming in the pool with mom and dad, Sundays on the porch with Gram, attending Lakeview School, and watching Cinderella and Encanto on her Ipad.

Rebecca was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Bernard A. Figler. Surviving Rebecca are her parents, Betty and Eric Hayes; Her nine siblings, Kevin, Kyle, Kieran, Meghan, Tara, Rachel, Ryan, Connor and E.J., her maternal grandmother, Mary Figler and her paternal grandparents, Adele Hayes, and Peter Hayes with his wife Laura Hayes, many adoring Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Visitation is on Friday, September 15^th from 4 to 8 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, September 16^th, 11:30 am at St. Clement’s R C Church, 172 Freneau Avenue, Matawan, NJ. Committal services will follow at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro, NJ.
