Robert H. Gagne 82 a resident of Englewood, NJ, passed away on February 28th, 2016 in Holmdel, New Jersey. Robert was born and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire. Robert graduated St. Anselm College, and received his master’s degree and graduate degrees at Columbia, Fordham, and La Valle Universities. He was a language professor and taught Latin, French, and ESL. He taught in several high schools and Universities in NJ, NY, and MA. He also taught at Universities throughout the Middle East. Robert had fought a brave battle with his health, and will be dearly missed by his friends and family. Robert is predeceased by his parents, Georges Gagne and Helen Pilawski; his aunt, Marie Gagne, and his uncles, Hermann Gagne and Honorius Gagne. Robert is survived by, his sister and brother in law, Anne Fran Giovanniello and William Vito; his niece and her husband and children, Denise and Kurt Hovanec, Amilia and Nicholas, Colorado; his nephew and his wife and children, William and Carolyn Giovanniello, Jennifer and Ryan, Marlboro; and his nephew Michael Giovanniello, Red Bank. Funeral services will be held at St. Catherine's Church in Holmdel. A private burial in Manchester will be held at a later date.
