Robert Vincent Eliseo, 60, of Farmingdale, passed away on Sunday at JFK Hospital.

Robert was born in the Bronx and raised in Bethpage Long Island. He graduated from the University of Scranton and kept his bond with his college friends through the years. He began his career as a distributor for Pepsi Cola, starting his company, J. Wild Beverage, which he still owns today. Robert married the love of his life, Raphaella, and raised their daughter, Gianna, in Belmar, eventually moving to Farmingdale. Robert loved playing golf and finishing off a round by smoking a cigar with his buddies. He loved taking Gianna to Giant and Yankee games while teaching her about his favorite sports. Robert found joy in randomly surprising his family with gifts, vacations, and plans as he loved to give. He shared his love of “classic” music with whoever was near. Robert also enjoyed fishing and being on the water. Most of all he loved sharing his love of God especially with Gianna from a very young age.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Raphaella; his daughter Gianna; his siblings Rose Bardis, Joann Maloy and her husband James, and Barbara Davis and her husband Cameron; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, May 30^th from 4:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733. At his family’s request he will be privately cremated following the service.

Dear Rafaela, It is with tremendous sorrow in our hearts to have just learned today 6/2 of the way too soon passing of Rob. We are so so sad for you, Giana and his family There are no words but, I am sending you my biggest longest hug. Raphaella and Gianna, our deepest condolences. We were heartbroken to hear of Robert’s passing and cannot imagine the heartbreak you are feeling. We had the pleasure of spending time with Robert at a few Ranney functions and his playful energy was a joy to be around. A game of UNO between parents and kids had us laughing hysterically with Robert’s humor. He was always especially kind and supportive to Sean (and all the kids), always offering a compliment or a lighthearted joke. His lasting impression will not only be missed by his closest loved ones, but also his brief encounters. He was the light.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing on of Robert my heart goes out to the whole family . This was a shocking news it’s been years since I seen you and Raphaella but one thing I knew was that Robert you were so full of life and as I remember you loved life to the fullest . It’s so sad to see you go . May the doors of heaven be wide open with your loved ones on the other side, waiting for you to enjoy your new journey.

Like many others, my wife Sue and I knew Rob from the University of Scranton. Rob and I were also fellow Long Islanders and shared some great times there as well as when I was lucky enough to see him either in NYC or back in Scranton. He was one of the nicest and most genuine guys I've met and we are incredibly saddened to hear of his passing. Rob spoke so fondly of his family and while we unfortunately don't know you all our most sincere sympathies as well as thoughts and prayers are with you. Rest in peace Rob
