Denise Kelly DeFalco left a message on September 13, 2023:
To say how sorry I am just is not enough. She was always such a lovely girl when we were young. Smart, talented but to the young me her sense of humor was the best. I am so sorry I didn’t get to speak to the family after mass yesterday. By the time I got out of church you were already in your Limo. Always know how she will always be thought of with a smile and also a giggle or two. Your whole family was blessed to have had her.

Unfortunately, I did not get to know Roz while we were in high school at Mount St Dominic. But, I did get to know her at our reunions and realized what I missed out on in high school. Funny, caring, always a great story and such a love for her family. She relished the fact that her son would be married and was able to be so happy and satisfied at that. We will miss her, all of us who got to know her. But the memory of her smile, her humor, and her spunky nature will live on. So sorry for the loss that her family has suffered.
Virginia Cantwell left a message on September 11, 2023:
To the Kopel and Illaria families, my deepest condolences. Roz and I graduated The Mount together in 1964. As happens, over the years we lost touch until 2014, our 50th class reunion. That same broad smile lite up the room when she entered. We had a lovely, long lunch together that weekend and caught up on our lives. She and I spoke most recently in early August and shared a few laughs once more. She will be missed, but always remembered with much fondness.

I graduated from the Mount with Roz & i didn’t know her well back then! But since our 50th Reunion, myself & some of our classmates have met several times . Roz was always happy to get together despite her health issues. She was warm, generous, funny! Loved hearing her relate the stories of her life. So sorry she is gone! We’ll miss her!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
