Rosanne J. Steets, 76, of West Long Branch died on Monday, July 24.

Rosanne was born and raised in Long Branch to the late Carolyn and Walter Howell. She graduated from Long Branch High School, later becoming a beautician and also worked in food services. She truly enjoyed cooking, especially her many Italian dishes for Christmas Eve and Easter each year. She made it her life’s work to help others and bring happiness to those around her. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Rosanne is predeceased by her parents. Surviving is her husband Robert Steets, her children Robert Jr. and his wife Lauren Steets of Fair Haven, and Jennifer and her husband Edward Howe of West Long Branch, her siblings Walter Howell and Patricia Riggi, five grandchildren Robert III, Lindsay, Lexi, Sophia, and Amelia, and many loving nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, July 28 from 4 pm – 6 pm at Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, July 29 at 10 am at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, 800 Ocean Avenue N, Long Branch. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
