I'm so sadden to hear of the loss of Aunt Rose, she was a beautiful and happy person. I will always remember the big smile on her face each time she greeted us. I'm sorry I couldn't make the trip but Camille said the service were beautiful. You have been wonderful caregivers to her she could not have better children always taking her on great vacations and into your home. She looked so good at Mom's wake I hoped she would soon be celebrating her 100th. I know our Mother's are at peace with the Lord. My deepest condolences, Marie Breunig

Right from the beginning MEME made us feel welcome. She had the warmest smile. She always liked to talk to you except maybe, when her beloved YANKEES were playing. Once in awhile you could see that fiery little temper arise but, only on a rare occasion. I still think my husband had a thing for her lol.We will surely miss her. Rest well Meme you have earned it.

My great aunt Meme was truly a special woman who always remind me how wonderful my grandfather Ralph was to her... Each time I see Meme, she would pinch my cheeks and said, "you look like Ralphie" that always warms my heart every time she did that. I am gonna miss her for there is no next time of her warm words. I will feel empty when I attend the next family gatherings. Meme will be missed greatly by all of us. Deepest sympathy to the rest of clan. With much of love, her great niece Delora, Ken and TJ

Meme is the lady I nicknamed 'tough old broad' and how she embodied and loved the name. She would always remind me that she was my Meme and say "tough old broad, right" whenever I saw her. So tiny, yet so strong, full of love & life, spoke her mind, told the cops whenever she got pulled over that "she was old, didn't have time for stop signs and anyway, didn't they know who she was?" She had her special pew in church and God help anyone who sat there! After my mother passed away, her pizza was one of the few things that could make my dad forget his sadness- he always asked me when she was making it next. So, to the toughest little lady I've ever known besides my mom, thank you for your love, your compassion, your cooking, your special stuffed shells made just for me, the great stories of your life, for being a grandmother to my nieces (and teaching them to love daytime soaps),for being you and most of all for 'your little girl, Rosanne' and the blessings you gave us when we came to you for your approval. I'll always love ya, you 'tough old broad'.

To the Chiafullo Family, Our hearts go out to you all from us here in San Antonio, Texas. You truly were blessed with a wonderful lady who cared and loved us all as one of her own. We are very fortunate to have met this wonderful lady and we know she will be waiting with open arms and that beautiful smile when it's our time to meet again. Never when we were with her was there a dull moment. Whether she was cooking, eating or just sitting on the couch just talking you felt the warmth and passion of her love for everyone around her. My Mom Mrs. Alejandrina (Alie) Reyes when she contacted us to give the unfortunate news was very emotional as my mom had many beautiful memories of their time together when Mrs Chiafullo when she came to San Antonio to visit. To the entire Chiafullo family, our greatest sympathy to you all. I always called her Ms. Chiafullo out of great respect; although she wanted me to call her Rose. She was one of a kind. I truly loved her and I will miss the breakfasts she'd make me when I would come home from the night shift. This was when she was visiting Joe and Sylvia when they lived two blocks away from me. Sylvia is my sister. Ms. Chiafullo would ask me after breakfast if I would take a walk with her. I could never refuse her. I was tired after working on my feet for 10 or 12 hours but I could never ever refuse Ms. Chiafullo. She had such a great way of making me at home right beside her. She always could just make you be yourself with her. She was such a great lady. I will truly miss her but I will always remember her warm eyes and heart. Lupita Reyes Nuncio
