Rosemary DeFilippo Nannini, 94, West Long Branch, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, Mrs. Nannini moved to West Long Branch in 1930. Along with her husband, Domenic, Mrs. Nannini owned and operated Nannini's Food Market, West Long Branch from 1930 until they retired in 1979. The market was started by Mrs. Nannini's father, Paul DeFilippo. Mrs. Nannini was graduated from Long Branch High School. She was a communicant of St. Jerome RC Church, a member and past president of the Rosary Altar Society and she volunteered at St. Jerome School's library. Mrs. Nannini was a member of West Long Branch Seniors, West Long Branch Historical Society and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Mrs. Nannini was predeceased by her husband, Domenic in 1985. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn & Patrick Dolan, New York, NY, Rita Nannini & Mark Stern, Princeton and Dr. Angela Nannini & Dr. Thomas Ducibella, Beverly, MA; a sister Anne Treptow, West Long Branch and four grandchildren, Lara & Lisa Dolan and Zachary & Lucas Stern. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, Friday, August 12th at Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch. Funeral will be 8:30 am Saturday, August 13th at the funeral home, Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am at St. Jerome RC Church. Interment will follow at Mt.
