Sam A. Lospinoso
February 21, 1962 - July 10, 2017

Sam A. Lospinoso, 55 of Middletown, passed away Monday, July 10th.

Sam was born in Elizabeth. Sam was a Union Tile Setter. He was an amazing handyman, a jack of all trades.

An avid hunter and fisherman, Sam loved the outdoors. He had a big heart and loved being with his nieces and nephews.

Surviving are his parents, Maurice and Arlene Lospinoso; his siblings Michele Ferretti and her husband Stephen, Rumson, Maurice Lospinoso, CA; Gregory Lospinoso and his wife Karen, Lincroft, and Alison Viola and her husband Mark, Snowmass Village, CO; and his nieces and nephews, Nicole, Alex, Andrew and Sydney Ferretti; Madison, Logan and Nolan Lospinoso and Graceann Viola.

Visitation Wednesday July 12th 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, July 13th 10:30 am at Church of St. Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Donations may be made in Sam’s memory to St. Vincent de Paul Society at Church of St. Catharine. Dear Lospinoso Family, I was so sorry to hear the news about Sam. Although it's been over 20 years since I left NJ, I've kept with me the memories of old friends. And Sam was one of them. I can only see him with a smile on his face. And I remember the harmonica....you knew he was coming before he got there , because he was always playing his harmonica as he walked down the street.
