It is with great sadness that our family mourns the passing of the light of our lives, Sheri Kemper Spadaccini. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the most caring and selfless soul, whose love for her family remained her only concern, even as she suffered for many years.
Born and raised in Escondido, California, Sheri married the love of her life, Paul, in 1989, and together they raised their young family in Aberdeen. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, always doing all she could to help others. A free spirit at heart, Sheri’s happy place was with her family and in her garden. Every spring and summer, you could find her among her flowers, and each year her garden grew bigger and more beautiful.
The greatest joy in Sheri’s life was her two boys, Paul and Dylan. She always said her boys were her greatest accomplishments.
Sheri is survived by her husband, Paul; her children, Paul and his wife Gina, and Dylan and his wife Paige; her mother, Belva Houston; her siblings, Paula, Sheila, Darryl, Donnie, and Gary; her sister-in-law, Nina, and her husband Ed; as well as many loving step-siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Sheri was employed at the Aberdeen Police Department, where she had many caring and loving friends. We will never forget our beautiful Sheri. Her passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of all who knew her. Please keep her memory alive in your hearts.
A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, January 20, at 10:00 AM at St. Clement RC Church, 172 Freneau Ave, Matawan. All are welcome to attend.
