Stanley Spector, 85, of Ocean Township, passed away on January 18th. He was born on September 22, 1938, in Long Branch, New Jersey to his parents, Samuel Spector and Pauline Katz.
Stanley was a lifelong resident of Monmouth County and graduated from Asbury Park High School in 1957; he graduated from Rutgers University in 1961 for his Bachelor’s degree and went on to graduate from Brooklyn School of Law in 1967. As a dedicated lawyer, he ran his law practice for over 50 years.
Stanley was a member of the Congregation Brothers of Israel.
Stanley enjoyed spending time with his family, especially sharing their favorite activities. On Saturdays, you could find him rooting for Rutgers during their football games. He enjoyed watching cowboy movies and listening to country western music. He also enjoyed family barbecues poolside at his house.
Stanley is predeceased by his parents, his wife Kathryn Spector, and his sister, Shirley Schneider.
Stanley is survived by his daughter, Louise Bonavito; his granddaughter, Erica Andresen and her fiance Shean; his grandson, Dylan Andresen and his fiance Samantha; his sister, Annette Marks and her husband Boris; his niece Toni and her husband Joseph, nephew Scott and his wife Lori, and nephew Jeffery and great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many friends including his special friend Mary Lou Feindt.
A graveside service in honor of Stanley Spector will be held at Chesed Shel Ames Cemetery, Neptune on Sunday, January 21st at 10:00 am.
