My condolence on your loss. I would like to share comfort from the Bible at this sad time. You may read at John 5:28,29 the Bibles wonderful resurrection promise. At that future time, Revelation 21:3,4, shows that those who have fallen asleep in death, will be resurrected onto a paradise earth, free from suffering, sickness and death.

Steve was my roomate at the LA N.Flores apartment from 2004 - 2006. When I first met Steve to view the apartment I actually thought something was wrong with him because he was so nice and warm. I'm glad I put my skepticism aside because I got to know one of the kindest people I've ever met in my life. He gave me a beautiful painting of Buddha that I have since given to my parents and it hangs in their living room. It represents a piece of Steve's generosity. I hadn't talked to Steve much after I moved back to NY but LA wasn't an easy time for me and I would not have made it through my time in LA without Steve. He was a great soul. My prayers go out to his family and loved ones. May your soul rest in eternal peace, Steve.

I was Steve's roommate in the late 90's. I'm stunned by this news. I hadn't been in touch with Steve in a few years but I wish I had been. Steve was a solid guy. My heart goes out to his family. Anybody that knows his old apartment on Flores in LA, one night about 3-4AM we had a big earthquake and before the apartment stopped shaking he slammed my door open, flipped the light on and yelled "Greg, we're having an earthquake!" I jumped up in bed and thought, why did you wake me up? It was semi-terrifying. That was Steve, though. He immediately went into fireman mode. Talented. Good heart. Sleep well, brother.

Dear friend from college days...great actor, inspiration to many actors...may you rest in peace Steve. A person who I completely saw as the inspiration for the Kevin Connolly character on the show Entourage, or maybe who's life in LA was the inspiration for that whole show! You will always be remembered as the one who went for it like all actors should! Sorry to hear this news. Wish we could have made it on the stage or screen again sometime :( My condolences to your family and loved ones.

I met Steve through a mutual friend not long after moving to Los Angeles. What a gregarious, energetic, intense talent he was. My sympathies to family and friends... such a good-hearted and powerful presence to lose so soon.

I worked with Steve on the movie BANDWAGON. I admired his professionalism. He worked hard. He took the work seriously. His intensity, integrity, and dedication raised the value of the scenes and of the movie as a whole. He was a valuable player. Underappreciated. And gone way too soon. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. RIP, Steve.

My sincere condolences to Steve's family and friends that were close to him. Thank you Steve for your hospitality, humor, hugs, and home cooking on holidays. Thanks for keeping me company on Halloween. Even though you didn't know me as well as my sister, you instantly considered me a part of your L.A. family. I remember your stories of working on celebrity houses such as JLO (who according to you had amazing skin) and Flea. I also remember your intelligent and humorous observations of human (particularly female) behavior/nature. You were one of those rare friends you knew you could count on if you needed something. I'm glad I got to meet you while you were here. The world will miss your much needed warmth and kindness.

Dear Steve, I met you 13 years ago in Chicago on one of my first acting roles. You became one of my dearest friends from that point forward. I will treasure all the times that we worked together and all the times we spent laughing and enjoying the company of our mutual friends. I never gave up hope to see you turn your troubled circumstances around and see you in Los Angeles again. My heart aches and is heavy because I didn't get see you shine again they way I knew you could. My heart aches and is heavy because I didn't get to hug and kiss your beautiful face one more time. I can only trust that you are at peace now. My condolences to your family and to the many friends that loved you so very much. I will never forget you and thank you from the bottom of my soul for being my friend.

My Dear old friend, I just found out the news. The memories are rushing back. Running to pick you up at Woodrow to run fire calls, helping you with the landscaping business, using the Microwave to “dry out” some stuff. Lots of fun times. If it were not for you, I would not have gone to my senior prom. You would not let it rest and pushed me to go and even set me up with a Prom date, knowing at the time I had a crush on her. How many times did we get back late and your mother was hiding just waiting, with the broom….. I’m sorry I did not get back up to Jersey soon enough to have that cup of Coffee with you since you got back from you adventures in C.A. I will stop by and see you when I come up, and I will have a cup of coffee with you while I’m there. Every time I tell the story of the Hand sticking out of the trunk, I think of you. So your memory will never fade with me. God speed old friend. You can rest easy now. Ma' wish I could be there for you at this terible time. I am there in heart and spirit. Steve was a great friend to me, more then he ever knew. Love always... Eirc
