Lighting this candle in loving memory of Susan who meant so much to all of us. Her presence brought warmth, laughter, and steady love into our lives, and that light will never truly fade. Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for every memory and every moment shared. May this flame honor a life beautifully lived and a love that continues beyond goodbye. 40 plus years ago we met Sue and Jimmy on the beach in Palm Beach Shores, Singer Island Fl. We ended up at my cousin Susan's for her annual great Friday celebration party 2 days later and they were invited and there it all started with our friendships. All our pool parties from then on they were always included! We hit it off and our friendship started. He remodeled out bathroom, built our shower poolside, We had Mutual friends we never knew about from her St. Rose day. My Mom and Bill were always included and loved us all being together. partying.... We remember her riding her bike around the island in her skirt and high heels. Always the most beautiful smile and that laugh was the best!!! We will never forget her and will always be in our hearts. Our deepest sympathy to Jimmy, Adriana her husband and grand baby. May she rest in peace.

Dearest Jimmy, I am so sorry for your loss of Susan. When I met Sue when we worked at Monmouth College together and she instantly became my friend. I was privileged to have her as a bridesmaid in my wedding. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh will be truly missed. As life moved on in our lives, we didn’t see each other often but when we did Sue didn’t miss a beat. May she be in a pain free ever-after now. All my love to you and everyone in Sue’s family.

DIANE DEROGATIS left a message on February 14, 2026:
To share a memory about Sue would be impossible because there are so many more than just one. When you’ve known your best friend since you were 3 years old you hold a life time of memories, more than can fit in the space allotted. Susan’s laugh and effervescent personality stand out the most, as I'm sure it did for anyone who has ever known her. Rather than choose one memory, all I can do is list places, certain events and foods (yes, foods) that will forever remind me of Susan. Many of which some of us share as well. So here it goes: Brown Ave (everything about it), playing Giant in the Cave and plans (giving away where the plan was hidden when I was captured!), Peterson’s and the firefly in your ice cream cone, Lemonade stands (you always ran inside when a customer came over to our stand), the White Bridge, the tunnel at So. End, our weekend at Bucknell and the apple, eating those disgusting chocolate covered cherries (still we managed to eat the whole box), dancing at the Stone Pony, The Shakes, the 400 house and the psycho house across wreck pond, daisies, you singing the song “Windy” by the Associations , talking on our landline phones and being able to see each other through our windows and waving to each other (the original video calls), baseball games on “the field”, shooting hoops in your driveway, the Ritz…….this list can go on forever, but I’ll stop here (too many to cover). Susan cannot possibly be forgotten because there is so much of her in our hearts and our thoughts. She is everywhere. So many things will forever keep her here with us. I can't say it better than John Lennon and Paul McCartney: “Though I know I’ll never lose affection for people and things that went before, I know I’ll often think about them. In My Life, I love you more. Rest in Peace my dear friend…..I love you
