Theresa Santimauro (nee Miranda), 89, of Monroe Township, NJ passed away on August 12, 2020 surrounded by her family.
Theresa was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 10, 1931. She grew up in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn, married her high school sweetheart, and they started their family. Theresa would go on to have 4 children whom she cherished deeply. After raising her children, Theresa was the legal secretary at the New York City Fire Department.
Theresa loved to crochet, read and do crossword puzzles.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Nicholas Santimauro of Monroe Township, NJ, her precious children Carol McPhillips and her husband Steve of Hamilton, NJ, Denise Ratner and her husband Bob of Swan Lake, NY, Joanne Procaccino and her husband, Al of Rumson, NJ and Dr. Michael Santimauro and his wife, Dawn of Old Bridge, NJ; her beloved grandchildren Christine Ryan and her husband Tom, Jenna Bauer and her husband, Korey and Alexa Archibald and her husband, John; and her great grandchildren Lucy Ryan, Nicholas Ryan and Jake Bauer. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Edmund Scattaglia and many nieces and nephews.
Theresa is predeceased by her sisters Florence Santimauro and her husband, John, Constance Rapaglia and her husband, Nunzio and Antonia Scattaglia.
