Thomas Nunziato, 87, of Howell, passed away Friday night surrounded by his family.
Thomas was born and raised in Lodi, and graduated from Lodi High School. He started his career at General Electric in their warehouse, where he would meet his future wife, Dolores, and eventually went on to work at Hoffman LaRoche as a chemical operator for many years before retiring.
Thomas and his wife Dolores would marry and raise their children in Lodi. He loved music, some of his favorites were Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Frankie Valli. He enjoyed his Dunkin Donuts group, was an avid New York Yankees fan, and was the TV remote controller. But most of all Thomas loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. They always put the biggest smiles on his face.
Thomas is survived by his wife Dolores Nunziato; his children Karen Nunziato, Robin DeTulio and her husband Anthony, and Thomas Nicholas Nunziato and his wife Alicia; his grandchildren John DeTulio and his wife Shannon, Derrik Rideg and his wife Stephanie, Anthony J. DeTulio and his wife Meaghan, Brianna LaBarbera and her husband Joseph, Tiffany LoBraico and her husband Eric, Christian Nunziato and Cali Nunziato; and his great grandchildren Chase Anthony, Emma Grace, Troy Matthew, Alanna Natalia, Rocco Eric, Madalyn Brooke, Lorenzo Anthony, and Easton Thomas.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 26th from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Rd, Holmdel. A mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday April 27th at 10:30 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Rd, Freehold. An entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum.
