Paul Steen left a message on February 26, 2024:
Mom, You have greatly supported and sustained us all through many life trials, promoting a prayerful faith that better things are always to come according to God’s plan. We love you and are so grateful for all the blessings God shared through you to all of us. So we need your continued prayers and support from above to bring peace and comforting to all the family in your passing, so to stay true to the trust that we will be with you once again for all eternity. We can’t see you directly for only now, but will stay satisfied to always see you in the many, many blessings you supported for your loved ones until we are reunited once again. Love your son, Paul

I am so blessed to have had Toni in my life as my mother-in-law. She was always so supportive and uplifting whenever I saw her or spoke to her. Her heart was so full of love for our family and she never failed to tell us how much joy we brought to her. She absolutely adored her grandkids and constantly showered them with compliments and praise. In spite of her pain and suffering, she never complained but instead would worry about us having minor health issues. I can definitely say that Toni was Christ-like in her trials and daily suffering and she was such a great inspiration to me. I know she’s now in heaven resting in peace with our Heavenly Father. I loved her so much and will greatly miss her being a part of my life. My greatest regret is that I wasn’t able to spend more time with her. I can think of no better description of Toni than that of Proverbs 31:25-31 “ She is clothed with strength and dignity, and laughs at the days to come. She opens her mouth in wisdom; kindly instruction is on her tongue.”
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Grandma Toni was such a loving, encouraging, and inspiring woman to me. She was my biggest fan and supporter in all my educational endeavors. I treasure the time I got to spend with her . Grandma Toni was always such a bright spirit and always brought a smile to my face when I talked to her. Her strong dedication to her faith was and is still so inspiring to me. I have no doubt that she’s watching down us from Heaven and I will truly miss her.

Toni was my St. Vincent de Paul partner at St. Michael's in the mid 90's. As caseworkers we visited the needy of the parish. I will always remember her strength and kindness. She was always ready to offer a kind word and offer consolation to those in need. May she be truly blessed in the afterlife.

Tony was not just an Extraordinary Minister at St. Michael’s Church, she was in the first class of Stephen Ministry when it began. This group helps people work through or help with their journey at the end of their lives. You listen, while they speak. It is a wonderful group that has so much empathy for their care receivers. She was also a part of St. Vincent de Paul, going on home visits and again helping those less fortunate. She was a lovely person who was so generous with her caring manner. She will be missed.
