Venicio Soaves, 4/28/1926 – 4/10/2021, 94, of Marlboro passed away early Saturday morning.
Venicio was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he would begin to raise his family until they immigrated to Newark, NJ in 1963. He began his career as a tool and die maker and eventually was able to start his own company, Soaves Tool Company, which he ran successfully until 1990 when he and his wife retired and moved to Cape Coral then Jupiter, Fl.
Venicio was a devote Christian, he was a parishioner of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church of Newark, where he was also an elder of the church. He enjoyed singing in choirs, traveling, fishing and watching The Price is Right, which was the show that helped him learn English when he first immigrated to Newark.
Venicio is survived by his loving wife Amandia of Marlboro; his children Eliane Eineker and her husband Robert of Marlboro, Suely Brandes and her husband George of Juno Beach, Florida and Mauricio Soave and his wife Renata of Raleigh, NC; his beloved 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Saturday, April 17th from 1:00-4:30 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home with a service being offered at 4:30 PM.
At the request of the family Venicio will be privately cremated
