He went on to attend New York University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He later attended the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center, where he met the love of his life, Barbara. The two met during Warren’s third year of medical school while Barbara was a nursing student working in the Emergency Room. Their chance meeting blossomed into a lifelong love story, and they were married on June 30, 1968.
He graduated AOA from medical school in June 1969. Warren completed his pediatric residency at Buffalo Children’s Hospital from 1969 to 1972. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1972 to 1974. In August 1974, after the sudden passing of his father, Warren returned home to Middletown and established his pediatric practice. There, he became well known as a fixture in the community as one of Middletown’s most respected pediatricians that families turned to for generations. He devoted himself to caring for countless children and families throughout the community, continuing work with compassion until his retirement.
