In Loving Memory of Pai Ya-Jung

Pai Ya-Jung , born in 1941 in Beijing, China, passed away peacefully in the Lord. She was the eldest of eight children and, from a young age, demonstrated diligence, intelligence, and a deep sense of responsibility. While caring for her siblings, she excelled academically and developed talents in athletics and the arts. After graduating from Tainan girls’ high school, she was selected as one of the few candidates to join the Broadcasting Company of China, where she began her career as a broadcaster and later advanced to become Program Director at Fengming Radio Station.

In later years, Mrs. Pai relocated first to Hong Kong and eventually to the United States with her daughter. After being baptized, she joyfully served in the church through music ministry, choirs, and fellowship leadership. She was affectionately known as “Mother of Living Waters,” faithfully supporting evangelistic ministries and church events.

Beyond her church service, she remained active in the wider community, leading programs at senior centers, assisting neighbors with translation, transportation, and medical visits, and providing help wherever there was need. At the age of 65, she learned to drive and study English, later achieving her dream of becoming a United States citizen.

Mrs. Pai was a devoted mother, a source of wisdom and encouragement to her family, and a beloved friend to many. She lived her life with generosity, perseverance, and faith, leaving behind an enduring legacy of love and service. She now rests in the eternal peace of Christ, and her family cherishes the hope of reunion in God’s heavenly kingdom.
